COVID19 - Cancellation Policy changed

The first to be adversely affected in this mayhem is our own business: tourism! We read daily about companies scaling down, airlines closing down and thinning out routes, cruise-liners permanently docked, hotels being closed or converted to hospitals and much more.

Both Greece and the European Union have imposed extremely strict measures to person circulation to block the spread of the virus: 14-day quarantine for inbound travelers from the UK or 3rd countries, cancellation of all passenger inbound flights to Greece, close monitoring of incoming EU citizens and their provenance, practical curfew in travel and circulation within Greece, limited to the absolute necessary. Even travel to the famous Greek islands will be limited to their residents alone. Topped by now scant airline and ferry schedules, you can imagine, it all spells disaster for the sector.


As many of our/your guests, due to restriction measures may not be able, or justifiably enough, choose not to travel, I would like to inform you regarding our revised Agency’s cancellation policy.

  • In most cases, rental contracts for a pandemic fall under the Force Majeur clause in our Rental Terms. As an exception, in this unforeseen crisis, we will allow ALL guests with current bookings to obtain a credit for the full amount of their booking and postpone their travel for later if they wish. The credited amount will be valid for a 12-month period from the date of the payment of the last installment received, choosing one of our 800+ villas in Greece. We shall not return deposits.
  • Exception to the above credit policy are bookings that were done under Special Terms, like non-refundable rates. In that case, we will review each case individually in the spirit of the above policy, but expect part of the deposit or payment to be forfeited, guests will not receive credit of the full amount but part of it.
  • All bookings made for season 2020 and after March 20, will be entitled to a full money refund 20 days prior to arrival! 20 days or less and no-shows all payments will be forfeited in this case.
