Accessible through a stairway, 70 (mild) steps down,that starts near the main square of Firostefani and descends in the direction of the sea.
Once you enter the premises you are at the upper veranda of the house spacious outside seating area, which offers magnificent and unlimited sea view.
A few steps further down you reach the main house, which features a particularly spacious outside seating area, with a large 6-person built tub and a breathtaking view. Especially the view of the world-famous Santorinian sunsets is a sight one never forgets.
The house has two alternative entrances, one leads to the living room and the other leads to the kitchen. It features 4 bedrooms with double beds, all with their own bathroom (3 en-suite, 1 with a large tub – 3 with showers).
The house is a typical Santorinian house, carved into the volcanic rock and has in this regard a resemblance to a cave. Two of the bedrooms are external, with excellent sea-view and the other two are cavelike, in the internal part of the house. The fact that the house is carved into the rock renders a fresh and cool feeling at all times and that is why the air-conditioning is hardly ever needed (but is of course available). Like in most such traditional houses, one of the bedrooms is situated on an upper level, under the dome of the “cave”.
The house also features a large living room with a 50’’ smart TV (Netflix and cable TV are available with no charge), a portable music player and a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table.
